Description
Originally introduced in 1999, the Dyad Jr. Lightweight took the twin-bladed versatility of its predecessors and expressed it with fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle scales. This unique Sprint Run version not only revives this classic design, but enhances it with Spydercoâs proprietary blade steel, CPM SPY27, and the advantages of screw-together construction. Its two satin-finished blades include a saber-ground SpyderEdge sheepfoot blade and a full-flat-ground PlainEdge clip-point blade. Together, they provide more than four inches of cutting capability and are ready to tackle everything from tough, fibrous materials to detail-oriented cutting chores. Both blades feature a Trademark Round Hole for easy one or two-handed opening. They also lock securely via a unique âbypassâ design featuring two independent back lock mechanisms with matching relief cuts. The knifeâs scales are injection molded in a distinctive cobalt blueâone of the signature colors of Spydercoâs elite CPM SPY27 familyâand feature a traditional Volcano Grip texture pattern for a non-slip grip. A remarkable resurrection of a true Spyderco classic, the Dyad Jr. Lightweight is clipless and purpose designed for in-pocket carry.
