Arrowhead Survival LLC began as more than a business idea, it was a vision born out of experience, resilience, and a commitment to preparedness. Over eight years ago, founder and CEO Curtis developed the concept while living in Southern California, surrounded by the mountains of Lake Arrowhead and San Bernardino.
During that time, Curtis witnessed firsthand how devastating natural disasters could be. As wildfires swept through the region, entire communities were left unprepared — losing homes, livelihoods, and stability. Guided by his faith and the advice of his religious leaders, Curtis saw the urgent need for a business built around self-reliance, readiness, and protection.
However, California’s political and financial climate wasn’t the right environment to bring that vision to life. The state wasn’t ready for a “survival” business — one dedicated to empowering individuals and families with the tools and training to protect themselves and stay prepared.
That idea stayed alive until the timing and place were right. And that place became Tallahassee, Florida.
