Spyderco’s stainless steel-handled Police Model is one of the most iconic and recognizable knives ever made. Originally created in the early 1980’s to meet the demanding needs of law enforcement professionals, it has evolved through several generations to arrive at the current version, which renders its timeless design with modern screw-together construction. For tactical applications where light discipline is a concern, this elite expression of the Police cloaks it completely in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating. Beneath that stealthy coating is a full-flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade, an ultra-reliable back lock mechanism, stainless steel handle scales and backspacer, and a fully configurable four-position pocket clip.
